Sentinel Spectrum -Monthly Heartworm Preventive for Dogs

Sentinel Spectrum Tasty chew provides broad-spectrum protection against multiple parasites. The beef-flavoured chew is effective in controlling flea infestation by killing flea eggs and flea larvae. The anthelmintic treatment kills immature form of heartworm larvae and controls heartworm disease in dogs. The oral preventive is powerful in killing adult form of gastrointestinal worms such as hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms and prevents intestinal infection in dogs. The monthly treatment provides total protection against various parasites and is easy to administer. Safe on puppies and dogs, it is also safe for dog breed collies as they are sensitive to ingredient - ivermectin.

Contraindications:

  • In rare cases, symptoms like lethargy, vomiting or diarrhea are reported.

Warning

  • This product must be administered MONTHLY to prevent heartworm infection.
  • It is recommended for use all year round.
  • Please seek advice from your veterinarian regarding heartworm testing PRIOR to using this product if:
  • your pet is older than 8 weeks of age when you start using this product OR
  • one of the monthly doses is missed or is late by more than 1 week.

How does Sentinel Spectrum compare to Simparica TRIO?

Both Sentinel Spectrum and Simparica Trio prevent heartworms and treat intestinal worms. However, Simparica Trio also kills fleas and ticks, which Sentinel Spectrum doesn't. The latter stops flea lifecycle.
