Founderguardshould be given as a full daily dose for at least 3 days before making dietary changes containing increases in grain (starch) or pasture (sugar) intake.
It can be given alone or with other feed recipes.
The standard recommended dose of Founderguard is 5 g/100 kg bodyweight a day (25 g/day for 500 kg weight-sized horse).
For individual horses: 5 g Founderguardper 100kg bodyweight a day
For bulk feeding: 1kg Founderguard mixed into 250 kg feed concentrate
